My main responsibility is ruling the other gods and people, because, well, I'm the king of Asgard. The main animals that could be associated with me are ravens (because I have two of them as my pets) and wolves (because I also have two of those.) It cannot be said where I come from, because I existed before the world did. Me and my two younger brothers, Vili ad Ve, killed the frost giant Ymir and used its flesh, blood, and bones to create the universe. Some Norse Pagans still believe that I am their ruler.
I am very wise, being the god of wisdom, and I can also be very cunning and have been known to trick people, either to test them or to gain something for myself. Most of the other Norse gods are good friends of mine, and one of my main enemies, who I defeated long ago with my brothers, was Ymir the frost giant. My enemies, I suppose, are mainly the giants in general. One of the main symbols associated with me is the Valknut - three interlocking triangles. Here's a picture of it:
